  • Following Suit!

We went trick-or-treating this year as well. Zay dressed cute and Lamar and I took care of her candy. A couple of our friends asked us to go along and we did and walked all over Haysville with them. Anyways, here's my monkey girl!!!!

  • It hasn't been THAT long

I'm pretty sure you all already know all this stuff, but why not blog it anyway.

Well lets see, quite a bit has happened since my last blog. First off we moved AGAIN! But even though it was a big ordeal...it was a huge blessing. We LOVE our place!!! Yard, Garage, fireplace...its a good fit!

Then we were at the 38 week part:

    38 weeks

This gave me almost two weeks to settle in to the new place before Xandra arrived. Oh so yeah...if you missed that part...I had a baby girl "Xandra Storm" on Aug 27th, she was 7 lbs 11 oz and 20 inches.

IMAG0147 (me before epidural, Lamar said I was smiling when he took the picture, plus it makes me laugh)

    100_0897 "I LOVE EPIDURALS!!!"

She's amazing. She brought me from never wanting to be a mom to loving it. The first week of life lil' Zay got visits from both grandmas and grandpas, the Busnitzs, the Loewers, the Kris Joedeman clan, and Kari. We loved seeing everyone. Zay loves you all. My nerves were put to ease a little bit with Ma Joedeman spending the week and helping out...she helped more than I could ever thank her for, and when she left I was a scared mess.

Then for my birthday week we went to the state fair. And I RODE A CAMEL!!!

And there was an exotic petting zoo...with a kangaroo, zebra, buffalo, tortis, zebu, four horned sheep, giraffe...

Then after we were there most of the day at the fair (look'n at vendors and stuff) Zay pooped on me and we went home ;0( it was time anyways. It was a great day until the end that is.

The Jackson grandpapi's have been here 4 times since Xandra's arrival. Then this last weekend I was again blessed with Kari and Jerri's company with a surprise visit from Julie. It was fun we hung out and played games. Then they left and I was sad.

Tommorrow Xandra will be 7 weeks old! Its true what they always tell you...they grow up so fast.

  • Moving day 2009

Hey everybody, we're moving again.  Just a couple miles from where we live to a townhome.  We will have 2 bedrooms up stairs,  kitchen and living room on the main floor, and utility room (unfinished) and family room/office in the basement.  We're excited to have more room for all of our stuff.  Moving date is July 1st so give me a "eww...me, me! Pick Me" if you wanna help.

Outside of that, because I know pictures of me are shamelessly being passed around via email, I figured I just as well make sure you all see them. (p.s Lamar is pretty adamant about making sure that its my actual belly you see and not it under a shirt)

    So here Goes:

    20 Weeks:

    20 weeks

    28 Weeks:

Lamar had an awsome month with work last month.  Praise the Lord!  My job is still consistant!  Woot Woot God!  At my last Doctors appointment (monday)  there was nothing to be concerned about.  Holla! Being able to move is a definite blessing.

Basically what I'm saying is us folks here in Kansas can't deny that we have been sustantially blessed by our Lord and Savior.

I'm currently in the midst of an 8 work day run.  B4 going to Manhattan with Lamar on his business meeting for a couple days (not to exciting, as I will be spending a majority of the time by myself, but still an escape from 4 ams and household responsibilities).  Then a couple days later I'm headed to the FARM via Debi from York on.  I'll be home til the 24th then the baby showers down here start the 25th, on in okc on the 27th.  Moving day on the 1st and another shower on the 16th of July and one the 18th(it sounds like a lot of showers considering, I had 1 wedding showers and that was koshar,).  So it's gonna be a busy quick month.

I hope all is good in ur neck of the woods.

  • Hmm

Well since Penni already beat me to the obvious...."haven't you heard its a baby" I'll skip that part.  I wanted to put the profile picture on here for you, as well as possibly the feet but i can't figure out our scanner.

The doctor "thinks" our baby "might" be a GIRL!  From the pictures I told Lamar she has his lips.  The baby also has big feet...go figure that one out.

I know I prolly have more experience or close experience to this than any of you guys but:  "who's scared of black girl hair?"  I know I got my hand raised!!!!

Well That's the anwswer and thanks for waiting so patiently..........Jerri ;0)

About Me

  • I'm a fun loving farm girl, try'n to make a go of things in this world (or maybe I just grew up on a farm). I love athletic activity and kick'n it with freinds and family. I think relationships are how a person discovers themselves, as well as how a person lives out their relationship with God (I could be wrong and I'm sure many people will tell me I am, but these are my beliefs). I'm 24 and I love sports, and the great outdoors (minus the snakes and bugs).
